When has that ever happened, right? LOL Shooting Bismuth, would you shoot the #5's in the Mod. barrel and the #4's in the Full barrel, or, shoot the #4's in the Mod. and #5 in the Full?

Keep it simple. I'd just choose one or the other and shoot it all the time.

For me, with 1 ounce bismuth loads, I choose #5.

Depends on what I'm hunting. Pheasants? Same load. Jump-shooting ducks? Smaller steel shot on IC, larger on the Mod barrel.

In part, that's because I've got a box of #6 Steel and don't think much of its effectiveness; but I'm only hunting wood ducks on a crik, with an occasional Mallard visitor to the area.

I bought a case of #4 1 ounce 3 inch 20 ga Kent Bismuth and , I have found that it hits similar to lead 5’s , I have tripled on geese , mallards and had very good results on Roosters . Pellet count should be close to lead 5’s because Bismuth is a bit lighter .
