All I can say is.......

I am planting several pollinator plots next spring, a total of 20 acres scattered across the farm. Hopefully some of the rains in the long ranger pans out.

The biggest challenge for me was killing off the grass / foxtail that was in the fallow field that I planted it in. Hope it comes up.

Today I am planting some Chestnut trees around the edge of a field. We will see how they do. If they do well, in a few years I will have some good deer and turkey mast.

I have some other areas around the farm that I am going to kill off the brome coming from the neighbors place, and plant pollinators plots, clover, and other habitat producing plants.

This stuff is fun.
