Aberdeen area

was tough today...VERY WINDY...30 mph plus gusts...steady 25. found good number birds in the morning but mid day..nothing but other hunters...EVERYWHERE....didn't see anyone else yesterday. roosters were not holding for points...I only got one bird. hunting all public ground.

Our group of 5 are averaging 12 birds per day. We are 26 miles SW of Aberdeen. Hunting 2500 acres of private ground. We have hunted this same farm for 10 years. Bird numbers are same as last year or a little less.

A bit late to respond but by now there is not much standing corn. When we were there in late October the farmers were working around the clock to get the corn out.
