ND, NE and IA report significantly lower pheasant numbers. MN reports the same as 2009. SD says they have more birds than last year.


After a bad hunting year last year no one in SD would have any motivation to want larger numbers this year would they?

As low as the numbers are in Iowa, SD might get some of my money this year.

Bad news there, but I can't help but be pleased with the MN news, I will take a season like last year any time. Thanks for the info.

Eastern & northern NE numbers are down due to the severe weather, but sw NE where I hunt somehow skated & numbers are actually up from last year!
