Met a guy in the parking lot I haven't seen for 12 years and he'll be talking about today for a long time because he never shot a pheasant before. So it was a good day for all.

Way to go Mike and Drake! You guys are picking up right where you left off last year. Hey those are some real nice photo's. :10sign:

I was just going to start a new post but you beat me to it. :) We also had a good Friday. Hunted for a good hour without hitting any scent. Then we ran into two guys training four Brittanies, they assured us that there were no birds to be found or their dogs would have found them. I knew better, and wished them well. It wasn't long after that Dugan hit hot scent, and the chase was on. He trailed that bird for a good 75 yards through thick cover and finally got it airborne, first bird in the bag. The second bird flushed along with two others. It was great day to be out there.

Sounds great everybody. Drake and Dugan are doing well for you. Nice pictures, too.

I met up with Snipet early today in Adams county and we hunted for about 6 hours. He ended up with one bird and I got two. We flushed about 6 birds and the dogs did well. I also had a friend come up from Camp Lejeune in NC and he brought another guy with him. They each got one bird and we put up 4 more. In total I hunted for about 9 hours today and I'm going back out tomorrow with the guys from NC. The dogs are tired but should be good for Saturday. I'm now waiting for my new computer and I hope to get pics up. I may be able to figure something else out.

Great pictures as always, the action shots are always very cool to see!

Good luck when you get the chance to hunt in Pa. again and make sure you give us a report.
I have a good friend that knows quite a bit about the area you hunt, he says it's been getting it's share of the birds! He also said that it's been getting a lot of attention from NY and NJ dog men.
