When we arrived in bird country, we were greeted with cold temperatures and 2 inches of fresh snow. Given the conditions, we expected to see a lot of birds and we hoped that they would hold tight. Unfortunately, the majority of the cocks got up out of shotgun range. We were lucky to take two roosters on our final day in the field.

Thank you to the Colorado landowners that kindly allow us to share in the splendor of their spectacular properties.

Thank you for watching. Echo is everything I want in a hunting partner. She makes hunting so much fun.

We need to get Josey confident so she is ready to roll next season. We will hit the bird farm in March. We will focus on foundational training now.

You enjoy your off-season.
