Antsy last night, her panting breathing kept me up. Took her out at 1 30 am for a leak. Same behavior. I bet I’ve seen her pee over a dozen times today. Went for a morning hunt and she finally seems relaxed. What’s up? In heat? UTI? Kidney stones?

If she was in heat it should be pretty obvious. Swollen nipples and vulva, spotting, etc. What does her urine look like? How is the water consumption? Any tenderness when you press on her kidneys or bladder?

Suspect of a UTI, needs a urinalysis. Consult with your veterinarian.
