27th Annual Pheasant Hunt

Leaving tomorrow for my 27th, and maybe last pheasant hunt in SD. We stay in Winner and hunt near Colome. We have been with the same family the entire time and I feel as if I am part of the family. I have traveled many miles for their graduations and weddings and will continue to do so. I am taking 2 shotguns and will give them to whichever grand kids seem to need them.

Birdman2, I have no grand kids and my son isn't interested. I sort of adopted these kids many years ago. I have already given them 4 guns and when I am gone, they will get more.

We limited out each day and brought home 81 birds. I left a Beretta 303 and a Winchester 1200 with 2 grandsons. A grand daughter with 2 small children got something also. It was a great trip and fantastic weather.
