Anybody seeing any deals on 20ga hunting ammo?

I just found 20ga 3" 1.25oz #6's for $10.80 a box (Fioochi)(not Golden Pheasant)

I would like to stock up and have a little cash but as soon as I spend it. Something is bound to break, I just know my luck.

You need to a shop around a little more. You should be able to find 1oz leads 6s for around 5 to 5.50 a box if not less. If you can't then I would start reloading.

If you are looking for steel. RogersSportingGoods.com usually has a good price on Federal steel with free shipping (around $100/case).

I don't work for Rogers, it is just the best price I have found.

Don't forget lethality testing indicates steel 2s are needed for pheasant.

I'm looking for lead shot to shoot in my older fixed choke guns. I have bought steel shot loads from Rogers. Great place but they don't have much for good deals on lead

Do you have a big R or farm and fleet. I buy 12 gauge 1 1/8 lead 6s for 5ish a box.

We have a farm and outdoor store called L&M supply. The problem is, we are outside the Pheasant belt where my place in Minnesota is. The only selection of 3" 20ga lead is, Prairie Storm or maybe if your lucky, Remington Express. In either case, we are talking $20.00-$25.00 per box. I make it a point to stop at Runnnings Farm & Fleet stores along my way to our place in South Dakota but they seem to have 3" 20ga lead loads. They have great buys on private label Pheasant loads for 12ga. 1.25oz 23/4" #5's and 6's for 7-8 bucks a box.

A person would think...1.25oz loads in 12ga or 20ga should be the same price in a comparable quality load. I'm not paying $20-$25 a box for shells. That's why when I spotted these 3" 20ga #6's for $10.80 I was very excited. Just wish they were somewhere where you could buy them over the counter instead of paying the high cost of shipping. The only place that ever offers FREE ammo shipping is Rogers Sporting goods.

Where do you live?

I scored 6 boxes of 2.75" 20ga 1 oz Federal High Brass. I seen 6 boxes at a local box store on the shelf for $5.99 a box(tagged/stickered). Got to the check out and she rings them up and say's $90.00. My wife goes to bat. She says wait a second, they are marked $5.99...not $13.99. Next thing a manager gets called and she says they are mis-marked we will give you three boxes for $5.99 and the rest for $13.99. My wife says no deal. I want them for what they were marked. Manger says OK but you can't get anymore for that. $38.00 and change. :10sign::cheers:

Now I need to get a case of 3" lead 20ga and a case of 16ga lead
