I am going to give MI pheasant hunting a go on public land for the first time. Does anyone have experience with what to expect in regard to numbers of hunters? I wish to avoid driving a few hours to find the public pheasant release parcels too busy to hunt. I will not hunt a field someone else is working, people have done that to me while hunting sharptails and it is in my opinion a classless move and potentially dangerous.
