2019

Last half of winter was miserable, then cool and wet during nesting and hatches. Looks bleak in NE Montana.....will no more after hay is cut, which is going slow, and when harvest begins in a week or so in some areas.

I travel throughout the state for my job and I've been pleasantly surprised the amount of all species of upland birds I've seen throughout the southern and north central parts of the state. I haven't been to NE this summer, but am not surprised at another year with bleak outlook. You guys can't catch a break.

I am surprised, I travel from Glasgow down to Big Timber quite a bit, been dismal from what I have seen, I have a friend who hunts huns, he is really depressed on what he has been seeing. One good note, the cover is awesome, amazing grass right now.
