2016 Season in northern iowa

we walked 3 hrs. today and saw 2 hens. wind was just enough to make it feel bitter cold, oh well season is done for me i'll take a couple weeks off and then go shoot up the pen raised at the local bird farm until march, and squeeze in alittle shed hunting as well. 2017 spring turkey hunting is now dancing in my head.

I'm bet it was tuff with no snow... Looks like I'll have a few fresh inches to play in tomorrow just hope the weather man is wrong on the freezing ice forecast...
