Went out saturday and was able to get my first pheasant. Ended the day with 5, my brother got his first one as well! Here is ours

Congrats! Thanks to 'grumpyolddude', I got my first shot a rooster on a preserve. I'm getting a new gsp and will make a road trip to Central/Western KS after Christmas. So hopefully I'll get my first wild bird here before the year's out as well!

Nice work, 20! And welcome to the club - we're a sorry bunch of eternal optimists...

Only advice I have at the moment is to watch who you tell (and where you post) that you got 5 roosters in a day The two of you can end the day with 6 - but some law-types might be tempted to write you up for taking more than your half of the 6...
