10" rain occurred in Jackson, Jones, Delaware and Dubuque counties.

dubuque has had 15 1/2 inches at last report. this is a very hilly area cant imagin what the creeks look like.
That's good. I've been watching the nnoa weather sights river reports. It has not looked very nice for alot of people living close to major rivers from the west to the mid west.

coot and i are dry. we could actually use some rain. big storm north of me today in albert lea. 45 miles away. they have some flooding. wouldnt wish flooding on anyone. more than 10 years ago work called me to help shut off gas to a small town north of me. i asked why and they said a flood occured. i said you must have wrong info that town doesnt have any rivers or creeks near it. they had 16 inches of rain that night. goes to show a flood can happen almost anywhere.
