There are no ruffed grouse in the Sierra Madre or Snowies, at least that is what I’ve been told and I’ve never seen any. I’ve heard of at least one person shooting a ruffed grouse in the big horns, but mostly dusky grouse. Thinking you will need to make the drive. Good luck

Found some Sharpies this weekend in Goshen County. Numbers looked good.

Great pics! Went out in October with a group and had several dogs. We did well hunting public ground but would like to get back with just me and the dog. Hopefully I can make that happen after Christmas.

Sammy is generally friendly but has been a little aggressive toward other dogs at times. Nothing serious, just seems to get a little jealous. Was thinking about another AWS, but also have been looking at pointing breeds, probably a GSP.
