My bobwhite is pretty stock heavy after I had to have it lengthened a couple inches. One of the reasons I'm switching to an iside is because of that weight. I'll still be carrying it some, cause I still love the 16ga and will probably need it. I'm excited to get this thing in and try it out...

I prefer the shorter barrels too, 26 would be ideal. I think the gun I got comes with 28, not ideal but it will work fine I'm sure.

I'm a little late to the party. I had the same issue. What I have found to work is to shut the handheld off when driving and back on when you take off again. As long as you remember it works ok....

We didn't have any luck at all in the evening. If I go back I plan on hunting hard early for a few hours, fishing at the camp for a bit and hitting the doves at the waterholes in the evenings.
