Our experience is that there are few to no birds on open lands. Electronic posting is choking out access and the birds get pushed into adjoining lands. Locals say a lot of recent hunters pay no attention to whether or not it's posted. That's not going to help going forward.

Another anecdotal report, this one from the northwest corner. Just finished up day 4, if you don't have access to posted land don't waste your time. Unposted land and PLOTS have already been pounded

My son now carrys my father's model 12 on our North Dakota hunts. The circle remains unbroken.

May or may not be intentional but you obviously don't care enough about someone else to go find another spot. I am no longer surprised by this behavior but am still disappointed by it. We go out of our way not to interrupt someone else's hunt. I really don't understand the behavior? Why would...

None, we hunt only land that is not posted and a few owners who allow anyone who asks to hunt. Why ruin somebody else's hunt by dumping into something they're hunting?

Why would anyone jump in on a piece already being bird hunted by someone else? Just plain freaking rude.

The people where we hunt say flat out not to expect to get access during the deer season.

We do not hunt that area specifically

ONX maps can be downloaded to most devices and used without cell svc

We travel out from Michigan also. My opinion only but if I were making the trip and could hunt only PLOTS or unposted land I wouldn't find it worthwhile. This is in late October, November PLOTS may not get hammered quite so bad.

Be forewarned, access can be difficult during their deer season which I believe occurs in November.
