I leave them whole. Age them in my "garage " fridge for 7-10 days. If they are shot hard -I'll gut them or break them down before i head home. I feel it does give them a little more flavor(wild pheasant are pretty mild to begin with) It definitely tenderizes them too.

plenty of pheasant this year. My little girl got alot of solid points that resulted with pheasant while we were hunting sharpies on prairie and alfalfa fields

we went out opening weekend. Alot of scattered rain everywhere. We covered a ton of ground-it was tough to say the least. Not anywhere close to what is was last year. Sharpies were way down in C and SW part of the state-I'm sure the rain contributed to that too. We didn't see many huns either...

It could be cause she’s young or could be her style of running… too early to tell! Our TGK shorthairs do not run like this- they grew out of it fairly early. Our rusty clown shorthairs - run super hard like this! We pick and choose who gets to run depending on size and type of cover we are in.

how the shotgun fits you is going to have the biggest impact on how it shoots for you. With that said, I prefer to shoot beretta over benelli simply cause it fits me better. The beretta will have a noticeably longer butt than the benelli and will surely impact your shooting one way or the other.
