Pretty humbling day, shot great opening weekend, went 6 out of 7. Missed 5 in a row today, managed to bag the last two I shot at. Not sure what my deal was, at least I was alone and no one witnessed my lack of shooting ability

Well I had a pretty good opening day. I was done by 9:30..the only down side was after I shot my limit I did not know what to do for the rest of the day. Went back to the hotel, sat in the hot tub for a bit. Watched some TV cleaned the gun, looked at my watch and it was only noon..... Hope...

Headed out for the second time this season. Hunted opening weekend and saw a woping 3 birds. All flushed way out there. Hunted today and again got skunked. I did however see the most birds that I have ever seen in one spot. I was driving to a wia and along the way spotted a rooster hanging out...

I have not bought shells in awhile, seems a box of shells cost a lot more than it did a year or so ago? Picked up some high brass 20 and they where 18 bucks a box! I know prices do not go down but I do not reacall spending more than 10 bucks a box or so the last time I picked some up.

Any one on here doing the rooster round up opening weekend? Finally decided to give it a try. Will just be me. If any one else on here is going and needs a partner to hit some fields let me know.
