Not my experience but I have heard there are a significant portion of the landowners that posted their land just because they want to know who and when, but readily give permission.

Are you using the ND Game and Fish hunting atlas? If so, the orange crosshatching is for posted areas. Landowners have electronically posted the property as NOT open to public hunting. ND has unique property law concerning hunting.

That's a nice morning. I went for a couple hours with a friend and saw a few hens. There was some snow down here yesterday but not enough to bunch them up. It looks like that is coming tomorrow, I can't wait.
