    Kent ultimate ammo

Pretty sure it used to be called Ultimate Upland as I have used it for a long time myself. Changed to Fast Lead several years ago.

    2022 Pheasant Fest Omaha

Does anyone know if they sell ammo at this? Man, I am hoping so can't find any here where I am at.

    2022 Pheasant Fest Omaha

Actually they do post what money is used for and it is very favorable to habitat work and positive things towards pheasant hunting.

    SW Nebraska opener

I actually talked to the upland bird coordinator out of Lincoln I think it was he blamed the enactment triggers which allow emergency haying on everything. It ended up my worst season ever there. Who knows if they will make a comeback this summer. No birds to reproduce and no cover to do it in.

    2022 Pheasant Fest Omaha

Who is going to this coming up March 11-13th in Omaha? I decided since it is the closest it will ever be to me I am going for the first time. Motel rooms are pretty reasonable now there anyways. Should be a hoot can't wait...

    NW KS report 12/27-29

I didn't see that field amazingly. I saw too many others though that really pissed me off.

    NW KS report 12/27-29

Well, I think they want to sell licenses so they will skew the report to sound mostly sunny when it is mostly cloudy truthfully. I was really disappointed by the amount of walk-in that is totally worthless. The locals told me it is a tough year for hunting pheasants, I would have to agree. I...

    NW KS report 12/27-29

I just got back from Central Kansas and the walk in areas in Lane and Ness counties were really sad. 90% of them were un-huntable cause were too short of cover. It is a big embarrassment in my opinion to enroll lands that are useless for only maybe deer? Sounds like NW was better up that way...

    Bioammo

Was in Murdoch's tonight and they had Bioammo priced fairly reasonable, but have not heard anything about how it performs. Has anyone used this? Seems like it has just arrived here in the U.S. never heard of it until this year.

    Poor Shooting

Well Go Pro makes them look a lot farther than it actually is so probably not 35-40 yards my guess. Walk213 you are shooting too fast when they come up. Got to lead them more before you pull the trigger.

When do we start the push for change?

Ahhh McFarmer is at it again, now moving on to the Kansas forum. So you live in SD based on what I have gathered. You know I personally talked to the upland coordinator in Nebraska awhile back and he confirmed exactly what you state. Hell in bad years you want to keep some habitat so birds can...

    Heading to Kansas

Yeah definitely agree with this statement. When I first read his post he "kills 4 every time out" but now he is backtracking saying he doesn't hardly shoot any when he goes out? WTF seriously dude, stay the hell off this forum it is not for guides IMO

    Poudre River Gundogs

Gary Buys of Poudre River Gundogs has been around a long time and is very credible. I previously bought a dog from him that was a great hunter and family pet. You will be fine-

    How many birds each season?

What is the possession limit where you are? To chime off about killing all these birds is pure arrogance in my opinion. You are violating possession limits and killing birds other hunters should have access to. If your such a stud turn yourself in for all the violations you have obviously done.

    Plug question

Thanks for the responses I normally hunt Nebraska where it is not required, next weekend gonna cross the border and try Kansas for a change of pace.

    Plug question

I don't see in the regulation brochure if a plug is required to hunt pheasants, is it needed or not? Thanks

    Hayed Fields

Hey there Lefty what does that have to do with anything we are discussing? McFarmer originally agreed habitat yes would be hurt(reply#6) then he says well CRP is not habitat(reply#10). I am lost? I am a life member of Pheasants Forever just trying to understand his logic. Sorry I hurt his...
