I am trying to find a reasonably priced youth shotgun. I don't need anything fancy because my son will most likely only use it for a season or two at most. In fact, price is a driving force for me. I have looked at stores and at gunbroker.com. Anyone have any other suggestions for me?

I usually take a break between now and spring, and then hit the preserve a couple times in the spring before shutting it down until fall. I have an itch to get out, but not sure if a preserve right now with the conditions and all would be good. Any thoughts?

This is going to be a tough year here. The numbers are down 27% and the August count was not good. Most of the state is covered in poor or fair numbers with very few areas showing good numbers. We have to hope for a good winter and spring season here to reverse the trend of the last couple years.
