    1950s Browning 16 gauge

I had a 1960 Sweet Sixteen with 26" barrel choked IC with a vent rib. It weighed right at 7 lbs. I now have a new A5 Sweet Sixteen that I have grown to love as it's a dream to carry at under 6 lbs. Goose, why do you think the 50's Sweet are better? The Auto 5's were made in Belgium until the...

    Raw Food

I always have to question if a dog gets the proper nutrients when being fed a raw diet. If you want to try a commercial dog food take a look at Zignature Dog Food. They have a several varieties that have limited ingredients so your dog is less likely to have an allergic reaction to it...

You say your dog is allergic to everything except protein. Can you explain that a little more? Has she been tested for allergies. Protein is in all meat products and many other ingredients also. I have an allergic dog and she a allergic to a number of protein sources, especially protein from...

    16ga ammo sale

Never been a fan of #4 shot in 16 ga. Probably shot more 6's than 5's. Should have my step-son pick up a couple boxes for me.

Chokes for wild pheasants in a 16 ga. O/U

The standard bore for a 16 gauge is .662". So, if we assume you gun has a standard 16 gauge bore, the cylinder choke will be .662". Here are the choke constrictions for a 16 gauge, at least according to Briley: Skeet (.005") = .657" Improved Cylinder (.010") = .652" Light Modified (.015") =...

Chokes for wild pheasants in a 16 ga. O/U

You can't go wrong with IC/Mod. When we start talking about IM and LM we are really splitting hairs. But hey, if that's what works best for you, go for it!

South Dakota Limit for a 77 year old hunter!

She's always been steady. It was only when I was running her in NSTRA field trials that I had a steadiness problem. She got trial smart once she found she could catch those quail and there was nothing I could do to her. If she has a pheasant pinned down and she knows it's right in front of...

South Dakota Limit for a 77 year old hunter!

Every one held very tight. The first one she had to track for a couple hundred yards before she pinned it down.

South Dakota Limit for a 77 year old hunter!

Done by 11:00. Bree had beautiful points on each bird. These were big, older roosters. This could be my last hunt before leaving for Arizona. If so, it was a great way to end the season. Bree has done such a wonderful job this year I almost hate to leave.

Goose is just a PIA. But that's exactly what he wants. Posting weird crap and then sitting back and laughing at us. Personally I don't care for it and would prefer to see posts with substance that enhances this site. But that's just me. Guess we don't need to read and/or respond to his...
