Sounds like you are in them thick! I was concerned about bird numbers based off the bird report and some reports from others. It will be nice just to see some big country!

I purchased a pair for my dad as a Christmas gift, and got them in the mail the other day. Seem very nice, but he has not wore them yet so a longer review is necessary. I also ordered a coupler and a collar, both very nice quality.

Sounds good! Better to have them and not need them I suppose. I was going to order some Lewis boots, but found out you can make your own using a bicycle tire, seems a lot more cost effective in case a dog kicks one off

    Can you top stupid!!!!

Lost an Astro handheld last year because I secured it to my best using the battery tray cover snd not to the actual handheld. Looked down and saw I only had the battery cover. Never found it, and I had to get a new one because I was going to Michigan in a week.

Good call on the dog boots, as I would have never thought about that. My dogs have never had to wear them also, so it will be good to get them use to them before we get out there

Planning to be in North-West Kansas if that helps at all. Checking the weather last year, looks like it was min 40's for the most part, but will make sure to bring lots of layers. As for birds I am super excited, if we shoot one it will be great. Mainly want to get my older dog on some wild...
