The hunt went well, birds more cooperative than 1/2….south wind today, damp air, a bit chilly…but it went better than I expected…dogs and men are tired and happy!

Tenderized the prairie chicken with the meat hammer, marinated in zesty Italian, and grilled over coals with a bit of Montreal steak seasoning…better than the 2.5 lb ribeye we also grilled! Rare, then touched it up in a skillet to get it a bit more done…just like sharptail in early September!
