My old dog has pretty tough feet, I regularly just boot the front. If your dog is a tenderfoot it’s not worth the experiment in my opinion. Especially when going several days in a row, feet will give out first in sand but country. 😉

Hunted a private ranch in New Mexico yesterday and it was fantastic! No big write up here it was great habitat and loaded with quail. I’m not making any predictions for the rest of the state yet but what a start!

And it’s pouch was really easy to load, no tuck or twist!

I hunted with a guy yesterday with the kuiu vest, first time seeing it in person and I really liked it. It was a simple lightweight pouch with good shell pockets at a good price point. I’ve got more water storage on my marsupial but it’s a really nice looking pack!
