I can feel your pain Cowan regarding the 20, I was looking last night at 12 prices and wow they have shot up since i bought mine. I have read a few places where the bss was a poor mans winchester 21. The 21 is on my bucket list too.

The bss is a great gun, I messed up and didn't buy a 20 when I was in my 20's. I did get a 12ga and love it but heavy to carry.

That's a grade 6 and they have excellent engraving and wood. The English stock can be a problem for people. If you list it I would start at $3500 especially if it on an action site, or at least what you have into it. That is a very beautiful gun wish I was in position to purchase.

I generally hunt alone or with my son and a few close friends. When I guide for grouse and woodcock i limit it to 2 hunters. Only concern as i get older is something happening to me and not being found in time of an emergency.

never been impressed with Fieldsport gun room, they think very highly of their guns. Have used guns priced higher than you can by some new. They do carry a good selection of shells.

The LT 1100 is a great gun not sure how it compares to the 28 she is currently Shooting, but she will grow into it and could use rest of her life.
