Bird buster... I have been in some bad with it and have never flipped it. If the report calls for wind 20 and higher I stay home.

What a great hunting trip! Your writing let’s us experience it with you. Sage grouse are such an awesome bird. They are moving up my list of birds I want to hunt. I’m going to dial in my blue grouse hunting skills and then possibly move on to either sharptails or sage. Which do you recommend...

Nice job Uplandhunter67! There is something about chasing grouse In Colorado that is hard to describe. I’m not sure if its being up in the mountains, the first season of the year or the challenge in figuring them out. Whatever it is... I cant get enough! Great pics! Kiva

Bird numbers seem to be pretty good this year. I was at Blue Mesa at the end of July and caught a ton of perch
