How was the hunting on the Lower Brule reservation? I have many fond memories goose hunting up there out of the pits. Just calling up there for a report or reservations was a hoot, the old guy in charge always answered the phone with a horse voice and two words every time..........Goose Camp!!!!

Yes it does have a soft top, but it will stay closed up for the pheasant season. The public hunting parking squares are about as off road as I get for pheasant season. When I go out west next fall to Wyoming mule deer hunting the 4x4 system could get a work out then.

Hmmm, sounds like you viewed the Bronco Sport. The Bronco is just as big as the Enclave, once you see one in person (a real full sized Bronco) the difference will be quite clear. Pics to come this hunting season :)

Did you consider the Bronco? I went with the 4 door version over the 2 door version just for the pheasant hunts.

Just got back from today's outing. It was a shoulda, coulda, woulda day. I hunted 4 spots and got into birds at each, saw plenty of pheasants but no roosters in range.

I had to work today until 10am, got out to the hunting area around noon. Last weeks snow has most of the ditches blown shut but the one's where good heavy cover remains tend to hold birds. The first spot has produced before and again today it held birds. It's a nice cattail infested corner...
