    A5 20ga

I'm not following your issue with the 16 ga. A hunt at Granite Falls would be good. I've known Terry and his dad, Richard for years. We had several NSTRA field trials there.

Here is a strange tip I heard.

In the article I read several years ago it said a pheasant could have a crop full of soybeans and literally starve to death due to their inability to digest them.

Here is a strange tip I heard.

I've also heard in the past that pheasants have a difficult time digesting soy beans. Although I've never found anything to confirm that.

WTB: Browning A5- Sweet 16 or 20 gauge

You keep saying this so I would like to know why those made in the 50's are better than those made in the 60's? Same identical guns made in Belgium.

    A5 20ga

Jon, there are new A5 20's on GunBroker. I look yesterday. Remember the 20's (just like the older Auto 5's) are built on the 16 ga. frame. They are only a couple onces lighter than the SweetSixteens which I suppose is due to the smaller barrel.

    Aberdeen area

I lived in Aberdeen for over 30 years. Moved away 14 years ago. It appears that the "mom & pop" motels have all closed doors in Aberdeen.

    Rem 105 CTi questions

It was a nice looking gun with an innovative design. Too bad Remington could never get them to function properly.

    Rem 105 CTi questions

It's actually a Remington 105 CTi. They had cycling problems that Remington was never able to solve. Here's a good article about them. https://www.outdoorlife.com/guns/remington-105-cti/

Question: What would you sell the gun "As Is" right now?

Early 1950's Browning Light 12 Gauge Shotgun Potentially for Sale

Actually, if I was going to own and use the gun I would sent the furniture off to a firearm refinisher to have the wood redone and get professional job. Might be worth the money and a lot less hassle. I think you would be looking at about $400, give or take.

    A5 sweet 16!

I had this 1960 SweetSixteen with a 26" IC vent rib barrel. It's really in nice shape. I sold it to a friend and I know it's just stting in his gun case. I could see it he would be interested in letting it go if you are interested.

    A5 20ga

Not true according to Browning's Web site. Appears the 20s are a couple ounces lighter than the same model 16.

    A5 20ga

As it was with the older Auto 5's, the new 20 ga. is made on the same frame as the 16 ga.
