    ISO dog boot recommendations

I've never felt the need for boots in SD but there probably are some areas where sand burrs might be an issue. The only time I ran into a big sand burr problem was in Kansas. But I always carry a set of the Sylmar booties with in my vehicle when hunting. Also works good if your dog would cut...

    ISO dog boot recommendations

I've used these Sylmar dog boots from Gun Dog Supply. Easy on and easy off. You can put some duck tape around the top to help them stay of but I really haven't needed to. If you do lose one they are quite inexpensive to buy two sets so you have some spares. Lewis are good just a little more...

    Montefeltro or Ethos ?

You can't make a mistake with either one. Get one you like the looks of best and the one that shoulders best for you. Good luck with your choice and enjoy.

Hi Dennis, I hope you get this message. I'm writing in regards to the Geezer Hunt that you proposed to host. I would like to set up a tentative date and also decide how mahy guys we want to include. We will all need lower bunks. :)

    What’s the best food?

I fed my previous Brittany almost exclusively Nutrisource and she did verry well on it. Started my current Britt on Nutrisource but she had a gassy stomack from it so I went back to PPP. All the extra fat and calories are fine if your dog is getting enough exercise but can lead to weight gain...

    Small game knives

I believe he said those were Gerber Game Shears. I've been using the Gerbers for years, they are great and very reasonably priced...

    Wet Crispi Boots

I think walking in wet grass for an extended time is the worst. I've never seen any boot (other than rubber boots) that would stay dry inside under those conditions. I doubt it's wicking in from the top.

    Aberdeen or Watertown?

Really? Not from what I've seen in the past 14 years.

    Getting Old Sucks

8 months until I turn 80. Feel blessed to be in as good of health as I am in spite of T-Cell Lymphoma, Afib, Type 2 Diabetes, high bood pressure and colesterol. Other than that I'm great! :)

    What’s the best food?

She (9 year old spayed female) gets abot 1 3/4 - 2 cups once a day. She maintains her weight at 34-35 lbs.

    What’s the best food?

I'm feeding my 9 year old Brittany PPP Adult +7 Chicken and Rice. Just bought a 34# bag and it was $77.48. But that bag lasts me about 3 months. So about $25/month or less than a buck a day. My dog is sure worth that.

    What’s the best food?

You have opened a potential can of worms. This subject gets beat to death and everyone has their own ideas, feelings and experiences. Basically it boils down to which food your dog likes and does best on. I've had Brittanys for 30 years and have fed numerous different foods. I always seem to...

    Aberdeen or Watertown?

Looks good why and where. I've lived here 14 years and pheasant hunting has been very disappointing. I live in Aberdeen for over 30 years and hunting is much better there.

    Small game knives

I use some brass cleaner on the ends of the Buck 110 to shine them up occasionally and a little oil on the wood handle.

    Small game knives

I've got more knives than I know what to do with. My favorite is still my Buck 110 Folding Hunter. I've used it on everything from pheasants to elk and moose. It's a tough knife to beat. I've had it for over 40 years..
