I have fed a lot of of dogs a lot of food over the years. And just like you PPP or NutriSource have been the best. I currently feed NutriScource and will continue to.

I didn't see anything special about this food, the lack of corn bothers me a little, but the lack of dealers in my region is a BIG deal breaker. Seems like a fancy name with not much to back it up. PS Please Please Please no one quote Dog Food Advisor. That disaster needs to go away

I agree 100%. I would even take it a little further, its almost more of a feel. Bird flushes, and if I swing through the shot properly the bird is dead.....but I cant tell you where the bead is when I pull the trigger. If I don't shoulder the gun properly or follow through then the bird flys...

Holy cow how strong was the wind?? If my memory serves me right -20 with a 60 MPH wind is -60 wind-chill.

In my part of the world, a tick borne disease would be #1 on the list. PS Ticks tend to beat the first robin by 2 weeks. It is not unusual to have snow banks and ticks at the same time.

Cable cutter, just in case of a snare. Nitrile gloves and trash bags for cleaning birds. And when my vet isn't hunting with me I have a really nice first aid kit.

Puppy update: Just for fun last weekend I entered Doc (AKA Smash Panda) in the puppy stake at Central Minnesota Retriever Clubs informal trial. Honestly I looked at it as a donation to the club. The little guy showed me so many positive things.....I know he's very young and the road ahead is...
