I’ve been thrilled with $25 orvis ear plugs, but couldn’t find them the other day…found the same ear plug by googling “orvis hearing protection” and they’re made by the same company for around $20-30 at midway supply and other online retailers…made by Axil.

Should be able to stay in a motel that time of year for $100…split 2 ways, not terrible…don’t sit in a restaurant or bar if you can pack most of your meals, then you’re saving $…eat breakfast in the motel on them, typically…I enjoy relaxing in a decent motel at night, watching a game, whatever...

I’ve had cold temps goof up ammo…I don’t leave it outside in my vehicle at night when it’s cold…

Chicks can’t regulate their body temps for about 2 weeks…extreme heat can kill young chicks…not too worried about September temps…I was in ND about 12 days in mid Sept…no issue with heat there as far as birds being harmed…other than by #6 lead…highs of 104+ in the summer concern me

Look at “current climate summary maps”….click on ND…look @ 7 day, 14 day, 30 day precipitation…or, go to ND 511 and look at highway cameras in that area…
