Pretty sure chickens have a square or boxed tail in flight vs. the sharp tail of the sharpies.

Don't they hang/age their uncleaned birds?? Maybe having the lead intact with meat and other matter while it ages allows extra time for lead to absorb? I clean my birds, pick shot and don't worry about lead. Kind of ironic if lead makes the hunter as sick as the prey.

Great suggestion on the Retay Masai Mara 20!! Shot it exclusively last season in MN and MT. Left the Benelli in the safe. Wonderful feel and points with ease. Never had an issue with loading either 2 3/4 or 3 inch shells. Have the Upland model with bronze ceracote.

2 3/4 inch worked fine last season in a mod choke hunting over a pointing dog.
