    Heartworm

There are several YouTube videos. Calls for 1/10 of a cc per 10 lbs. so a 50 lbs dog gets 1/2 cc. I usually give both of my dogs a full cc because the trainer I got first dog from showed me that way. Pull the amount thru with a syringe and then unscrew needle and I put on a piece of bread with...

    Heartworm

I bought this 8 months ago and we give to our 3 dogs-2 shorthairs and a yorkie. Ten years ago it was $35 and it is still $35. It lasts 5 years for a 55 lbs dog.

    Heartworm

That’s an awful story. I guess the drug companies have to save their money for those high dollar tv commercials they run every 2 minutes. Have you ever noticed the number of commercials involving drug companies, insurance companies, and/or alcohol companies? I guess we know where the money is...

    Cactus Avoidance

Welcome. They work great here in NM where prickly pear are abundant. The dogs will get used to them fast. It will save you and dog a lot of grief. Good luck

    Cactus Avoidance

Boot’em up, especially front feet. It will make a world of difference. Use tire tubes. There’s a great video on YouTube with Dr. Dale Rollins and another gentleman. They go step by step. Don’t mess around with boots you can buy, tire tubes are superior and way cheaper.

    Long Distance Traveling for Birds

Yeah we could get a couple homeless folks and they could start a podcast. You know they would all love my setup. It is sad to see so many living on the streets. Growing up in our small town in the 80's there was only one person that was homeless and I think he actually had a house. Fast...

    Long Distance Traveling for Birds

The “ghetto “ or “zombie” camper. It was used to house military electronics I believe. I installed a bed frame and bought a nice mattress. Not much room, but sleeps good and I don’t have to mess with a tent. I have a camp chef 3 burner stove and the buggy/sidexside all in one unit. Under the bed...

    Long Distance Traveling for Birds

Went all the way to ID from NM. Camped at dispersed campgrounds-no one around. No heater, low was only 28, but I think a buddy heater would suffice as the “ghetto/zombie” camper is insulated. Paid $20 for it

    Long Distance Traveling for Birds

Here’s my setup. Spent 12 nights. Never got a room. Took showers at truck stops. So much fun!

    Cost of raising pigeons?

I guess they taste like a dove? I’ll stick to McDonalds. A pigeon in a launcher is a super training tool and cheap.

    Cost of raising pigeons?

On trapping them, most business owners are happy to let you trap. I prefer buildings that have stair access so I don’t have to mess around with ladders. Keep it in the shade and have water. Check everyday if possible-I have the business owner check for me. It takes awhile and then all of a...

    Cost of raising pigeons?

I catch and raise pigeons. The most expensive part is the traps and materials for the coop, you are better off buying traps instead of messing around with wire. I tried building a couple but by the time I finished I had spent just as much money, more time, and the product was not as good as...

    3rd Eastern Oregon Trip.

Yes I have onx but I was without a license and went specifically to Hell's Canyon which did not disappoint. But if I knew it was good for quail in OR I would have spent a couple of days there for sure.

    3rd Eastern Oregon Trip.

That is sweet! Man! I went to Hell's Canyon for the first time in early Oct. and got into chukar and huns. But, if I had known about the quail on the other side, dang! I hunt blues over here in NM and it has been a 6 on a scale of 1-10 but eastern oregon looks like the tkt. I wish I had...

    Boots

I wear Whites on a daily basis. Can't beat them in my opinion. Takes around 80 hours to break'em in. Hard to get used to but once you do, you'll love them. I've hunted, fished, and hiked miles up and down in them. You measure your feet and send in info and custom built. The Smoke Jumpers...
