    Getting stuck!

    Looks like the Atlas has been published. Snuck up on me this year. Just a quick glance and I saw my ol favorite "29" is no longer enrolled. I don't hunt it much anymore, but it holds very strong memories.

    Just a thought

    I have thought about this for several years. Is there any work a greenhorn could do, for free? I have plenty of time these days and would love to get up there and do something for somebody. Love the country and the people, plus the opportunities that can be had.

    New pup! can't wait

    Looking foward to this season with the new pup. It has been several seasons behind others dogs, which is good, but having your own is something to be had. Gavin will be about 8 months at the start.

    Gettin Closer

    Book my hotel for the week right after opener. Dad and I are headed up! Looking forward to getting out and do some walking. Don't reallycare what the bird numbers are, just spending time with the dogs, the land and dad. Doesn't get much better.

    Getting the itch

    I am getting the itch. The later season opener is putting me in a bind though, will end up making less trips this year. I was one that enjoyed the earlier date, never had a problem with the heat or some fields not harvested.

    Panhadle birds

    just passed through Texline to Dalhart before dark last Saturday evening, saw four roosters along the way along the highway. looks like you guys up there should have a decent year.
