I contact huns regularly, and they’re the reason I have changed to #6 lead…not a terrible idea to use 6’s for sharpies, but huns shock me regularly as to their toughness, so I just shoot #6 lead for both…

6 shot is my choice…used to use 7.5’s…20 or 12 is fine…I use 28 gauge a lot…IC mostly, will go a bit tighter in my 28 gauges…usually I shoot S x S’s, IC/M….I usually shoot 7/8 oz in my 20’s or my 28 gauges…1 oz in my 16’s…1 1/8 oz in my 12’s, though I don’t use 12’s sharpie hunting.

I know at least 6 guys that have draats, most have 2, some 3….great dogs!

I did that last summer, I decided to hunt prairie grouse the day before pheasant opener…just hunted one spot, I drove about 2 hours west of my pheasant area…dropped some smoked fish for the warden at the sheriff’s office in a small town…hunted for a few hours, nobody else out there hunting that...

Country style ribs and fennel kraut in the crock is really good…

I’ve done country style ribs in the crock pot with some success…dump a can of sweet sauerkraut (fennel) over the top, maybe some sliced apples, a bit of cinnamon…6-8 hours on warm or low…just the kraut works well…
