Been out 2x more for quail and found birds each time. Disappointed at the last go because we hunted two new spots that look fantastic and my friend had seen birds in both spots but we got skunked that day.

My Weim was 80lb female, Vizsla was a 70lber. Both very large for breed standards but both were large because both the bitches I got them from were European imports. I hunt occasionally with a guy whose Weim is over 100lbs. It's big AND fat! Buddies GSP is 90lbs. It's fat and ffffffat!!

Yeah, i was in on Friday. Hunted west of town about 15 miles and saw quite a few but the best spot was between Milford and Sheldon. Most birds i have seen at that place and the vast majority were cocks.
