Finally the snow is almost gone time to get some training in. Went to the live stock auction and got some pigeons Friday so I was ready for Saturady and Sunday. Dog worked well and winter garage training is paying off. Here are some pics of the fun day and good weather

If pigeons can be toxic to humans do you need to do anything with them before using them for training with your dog.

Does anyone use live morning dove to train instead of pigeon. Just asking because I could trap them in my back yard and use them in stead of pigeons as they come in when I put bird seed out all the time.
