I would look inside a box from Mitchell to Winner to Mobridge to Aberdeen back to Mitchell. I am sure there are other areas and that is a large area.

I know I am an antique, but I have always shot a full choke. I am still using the same model 12 Winchester 16 gauge. It has never been a problem, it just gives me a little more time. Maybe I would be a good shot if I used something else.

Saw some really little chicks today, and I do mean little. Saw the hen so I stopped raking and got out could not find a nest, then I saw these tiny little chicks. I backed the rake up and moved out of the area. The smallest chicks I have ever seen.

If it was all hype, I don't think we would be booked up as we are. We have had a tougher time the last few years and we have shortened our season as a result, but we still have many repeat customers. This year looks significantly better, and we are adding a couple more weeks to our season.

If I had to pick not knowing the weather, it would be the first week in December.

I saw 14 young pheasants today, about softball sized, That is the largest brood I have seen in years. Apparently they survived the monsoon.

Well we ended up with 9 inches in 5 days. That doesn't help much but the fire danger and the mosquito population. Sure didn't help the road situation.

Ended up with 3.7. Just finished a tour of our township roads. We are going to spend a lot of money on gravel. Many places the water is going across the road.

Another 3.25 so far today.
