Use to hunt that all time, still do sometimes for geese. I also heard it can be decent for pheasants.

I know 15 counties in southeast Kansas are out of the pheasant range. I'm just wondering if that's true. Has anyone seen or shot any down in that area

I estimate 300,000 pheasants, and 150,000 quail

Went deer hunting tha last weekend it was open, around the smith center area killed only 2 does, deer numbers are way down my guess due to drought. Seems like we saw more mule deer than whitetails...only saw 6 pheasants

Perhaps this cold front will bring better pheasant hunting and good hunting for the last weekend of rifle season.
