It was real warm in Colorado on Saturday. We still managed to get our limit. Here is the video of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Only the highlights. I hope that everyone has had a successful season to date.

Our first prairie chicken hunt is a success! 9 miles of walking, 525 miles of driving & we execute on our only opportunity! Echo has been on CBD for 2 months. Her seizures have been materially reduced. We are hopeful.

An update. Perhaps a dog has been on this medication. Our vet wants Echo to start to take Phenobarbital A drug that's used to control seizures. Phenobarbital is also used to relieve anxiety. Does anyone have any experience with this drug. We have not witnessed another big seizure since...

Thank you. We don't apply anything on Echo as we don't have tick or flea issues.

It has been difficult, thank you. We are concerned as the small seizures have not ended. Our vet wants to rule out everything, and end up at epilepsy. We started her on pet CBD from MedTerra. We will give it some time.

Update (8/21/21) This week my wife observed Echo snapping at imaginary flies. A quick Google search underscored that this is another seizure. Any thoughts from the group?

Thank you for the detailed insights. The condition you described is certainly frightening. We don't use a flea and tick prevention medication on either Echo or Josey. Ticks were a big issue when we lived in Massachusetts. They have not been a problem in Colorado. We will monitor Echo closely...

We did our best to research Echo's breeder. That said, we did not delve into the health background of the sire or the mom.
