Hi geezer here , suffer from cold hands this time of year. The disposable hot pads don’t give enough energy under a glove to allow a couple hour excursion in 20 degree temps. Is anyone using and sold on heated gloves? Please share brand if so?

Hey Jim, thought I would pass on what I'm currently using for the hands...Savior heated glove liners (Amazon). I wear a 3M insulate finger glove on top. I've had other heated gloves, they don't seem to work as well. On a very cold day you need to change the batteries often. I wear the heated liner only on my right hand and use a lambswool insert, chopper mitt and two heating packs on my left hand. With my arthritis fingers and poor hand circulation this combo seems to be the best.

Next best - stay home!

Weston heated apparel, just saw an ad on FB for their heated gloves. Maybe Google them.

Just googled them, $150, rechargeable.

Not sure they are thin enough to wear under/fit with other gloves...they aren't warm enough by themselves.

Which model do you have? Looks like they offer 2 styles, one with the battery pack on the inside of wrist contained by a zipper (wonder if it affects bending hand), the other with battery on the back of wrist which also has non-slip silicone on palm. The latter model has comments saying the battery falls out of the velcro'd compartment.

I have the Style S13, M/L. Bought them in 2021. The battery is stored on the palm side, with a zipper. My gloves have no silicone on the palm. the battery pack doesn't interfere with bending the wrist.

Finding the right outer glove is the secret to wearing these gloves...too heavy and you can't find the safety, too thin and your hands get cold.

As I mentioned in an earlier response, I only wear the battery glove on the right hand.

You would think that some company would have figured that out by nowBlows my mind that our civilization has artificial intelligence taking over entire sectors of the economy and there isn't a glove that is thin enough to operate a trigger AND keep my fingers warm.
You would think some company would have figured that out by now? Personally I try not to wear gloves, especially on my right hand.

I have nerve damage in my right hand due to elbow and neck issues, have to pull trigger using my middle finger. A side result is poor circulation and cold sensitivity. Previously I did not wear gloves either. Currently I wear ragg wool gloves, anything thicker or more restrictive and I can't operate safety, etc. Hoping these function like the wool but with the additional heat.

These are legit and have served my December hunts well. I have hunted at 10 below. Keys: don’t by one pair , buy two or three. Wear one pair, put another in an inside pocket close to your core. Don’t be afraid to switch out. My hands sweat in these on those cold days that are just warm enough to walk longer distances safely with my dogs. It is essential to switch out in the truck. Trying to use sweaty or even damp gloves will make for a miserable next walk. Buy 2 or 3 pairs. Finally, do not get out of your truck without them on. Starting with cold hands and then remembering to put gloves on is another bad idea. I haven’t tried putting hand warmers on the backs of my hands but it sure sounds like another good idea. I have zero problems operating my gun safely or operating my dog remote.
