New from MN

Hey everyone!
I am new to the forum but not new to MN. I have lived here for 19 years and never hunted pheasants here. I have done the bulk of my hunting in ND. I just got a new chocolate lab last January and am looking to hunt it on pheasants in MN

Where are most of you having luck? State lands? It looks like Sibley county is closest to me, but I’m willing to drive farther to get into some good birds.

Went out to do a little scouting this weekend. Had a snafu with my license so couldn’t actually hunt. Found some good places in Sibley county to walk and my lab did flush one rooster.
I was disappointed as one of the WMA was posted. I didn’t think that was possible?
Anyway, it was a good day as I got a flush with a pretty new dog.
