Do any of us, myself included, ever realize the "fleecing " we take on dog food these days? $50-70 a bag for "scraps and byproducts", really? I look back and we fed our dogs a food called Strongheart for years that was dirt cheap from the local feed store and our dogs were always fine that I remember. My grandpa as well as my dad would give them raw garlic about once a month and I don't ever remember flea or tick or worm problems either. We have all drank the kool-aid and let life get overcomplicated and expensive.
