    Take some of that smoked turkey and cube it. Add it to wild rice soup. Delish We will also fine grind that smoked turkey and add mayo with some cream cheese. Excellent cracker dip.

    A dog learns from every bird it can encounter. Never seen a dog with too much experience. Enjoy the journey. If you like to gamble, go to Vegas. If you enjoy hunting birds, go to the Dakotas. Never too late. Only love you can buy.

    The greatest compliment you can give to a breeder, is to return when it is time for another pup. Life is too short to live with the wrong canine companion. It is good people that brag about their dog.

    Might switch from S/S to O/U, always 20ga. IC/Mod or Mod/IM. Blessed to have options. Never switch waterfowling, always 12ga. Mod

    I hate barbwire

    As long as there isn’t too much tension on the incision, it should heal given some time. Problem with incisions occur when they are over motion areas like joints or continually irritated by the patient. Keep it clean and protected. Older dogs heal slower. Wire is evil.

    Consider one vest and a shell belt for different gauges. Keeps the weight around your waist. But I am all for extra equipment. Whatever you choose will be right for you.

    Very painful to comprehend once I watched that episode. Why subject your dog to a likely danger? Must be some pheasants elsewhere. The situation was so preventable.

    There are some close calls I dare not share with my wife or insurance man. There must be an angel that shares my name. 🙏🙏
