2021-2022 Kansas WIHA Maps for Garmin GPS Units

It's a time consuming exercise but you can save the GE file, then convert it to GPX using a free online tool called gpsvisualizer. Then open the GPX file in BaseCamp and manually drop a waypoint flag in the center of each tract so can filter on just the waypoints and send to your Garmin. I've...

    2020/2021 Pheasant Phorcast

We found plenty of birds but definitely down from past years. May not go back out again in hopes that numbers rebound.

    Hunting Friday Yuma area

I'll be in Holyoke on Thursday and may come down that way on Friday. Have hunted Kansas all year but am going to take my Brittany out to Eastern Colorado to see all of those birds, if eveyone left a few. Chris

Good Night John Boy, Good Night Mary Ellen

Nice job Bilbo, were you hunting solo?

2 pics from KS last year to warm you guys up!

Either that's a really big lab or those birds didn't get enough to eat! Thanks for the pics, I'm getting itchy and have to wait two more days to get out there.

    Weather

Hope you guys don't get too rained out with the roads this weekend but there's a part of me that says when I get to Wakeeney for a week on Monday, the birds might be a little surprised to see me and the brittany running though virgin fields :D

    non res licenses

Just have to start the cycle. You might only get a month and a half this time around but if you buy it again in the middle of December this year and use it when the snow starts flying at the beginning of 2011 when the crowds thin out and the birds bunch up, you already have your non res license...

    North Central Hunters

We can only hope for temps like that but as long as it's not 70-80 like in years past for the opener, I'll be happy. How 'bout some moisture, save the slick drivin' sideways roads, is that too much to ask?!?

    Youth Opener

GoveCounty, it's good to hear they're out there! As long as the the kids had fun and got to enjoy the thrill, that's all that counts.

    So who got out today?

Yea, and they were real close to the road, too. If hens were in, I could have had shots at probably 20 or 30. Good news for next year I guess. Best numbers I've seen in Colorado in a long time, plus it's beats work any day even if you don't bring anything home.

    So who got out today?

We're you solo, too? My hunting buddy backed out at the last minute so it was just me and the dog. Anywhere I found the red Kochia across the road from cut corn, I found birds. I hunted all walk in. Been doing mostly Kansas and this was the first time in a while that I stayed In Colorado...

    So who got out today?

5 below when my brittany Dakota and I hit the first field. The little bit of snow sure helped identify fields that held birds. Got two and should have had three but thought it made sense to leave the dog in the car for a short walk. Knocked the rooster down but couldn't find him (my nose doesn't...
