In MN. April 15th to July 15th is the no go period.

August 29th (about) will head to MT for Sharptail opener Sept. 1st. Plan on spending a month (or more) in MT, Return home in October for Ruffed Grouse prime time. Usual 2 or 3 trips to SoDak for Phez. hopefully.

Spent 5 days chasing roosters in central E. River South Dakota. North of where we stayed we hunted for two days. Killed one bird & saw maybe half dozen others including a couple missed shots. Third day hunted one hour West. Killed one. Saw maybe total of a dozen birds. 4th & 5th days hunted a...

Traveled out on Sunday Nov 10th. Met up with Pcola GSP & DakotaZeb the first day for some hunting. I didn't get much shooting but did manage to trip & fall on my way into an intense Point in the Cattails. Some birds were taken that day. Enjoyed seeing George again & meeting PcolaGSP. Second...
