I went to Platte a month ago...plenty of birds...I would go back...believe me...tomorrow...a couple of suggestions... find the minimal maintenance roadways betweens sections of ground...that is where the birds are...believe me. The second is dont be afraid to drive and make short trips on those areas. We got our limit three days in a row. Around Platte...if the corn is out...go one mile east and three south to that public area...the corn was still standing when I was there..but a guy told me it was loaded.
