I'm in the market for a new shotgun to use for Pheasant, Duck and Geese. My budget is around $1000 - what would you recommend for a versatile gun to hunt both upland and waterfowl?

I have the opportunity to hunt private ground in Rockham this fall and was wondering what to expect. Does anybody have any experience hunting this area?

I have a 14 month old lab, and last summer I sent him to a trainer for two months. I would like to send him back to a trainer for some refreshments later this year, and was curious if people would recommend using the same trainer, or somebody new.

Hey fellow Wisconsinites, I'm brand new to pheasant hunting (and hunting in general). I'll be making a trip out to SD this fall and was wondering where is a good place to practice shooting in the Milwaukee area. I would need to rent a gun as I do not own one...yet. Thanks!
